About the Job

 

The Senior Solutions Engineer, will be part of the Pre-Sales and GTM team responsible for supporting our channel partners, enterprise / mid-market customers, and reporting to the Solutions Engineering leadership. They will be the trusted technical advisor to our pre-sales teams for all product lines. This individual needs to be passionate about technical enterprise sales and helping our large corporate customers to maximum value from our solutions. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, the job will require technical mastery and the ability to translate customer requirements into solutions and communicate benefits and the importance of synergy with partners in our ecosystem and with our outside Atlassian Marketplace offerings under the Tempo Group umbrella.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborating on our product strategy and articulating this to our most high value customers and partners.

  • Planning, contributing to, and delivering technical enablement for partners as well as for internal training.

  • Provide ongoing technical pre-sales support for the initial stages of strategic leads and opportunities raised by enterprise / mid-market customers, integrations and to orient solutions.

  • To assist in the most strategic opportunities that are partner influenced or sourced to drive revenue closure and repeatable growth.

  • Contribute to product and enterprise strategy by providing expert assessments of direct experiences with customers from sales through deployment.

  • Contribute to training, documentation, and tooling to ensure the team can scale efficiently.

  • Delivering our technical and industry points of view to large corporate customers.

  • Hosting joint events with our partners, clients, and other GTM team members.

  • This role will require occasional travel for in-person conferences and other priority events in order to collaborate with our clients and partners.  

 

The Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of SE experience within B2B SaaS companies.

  • Demonstrated expertise in SaaS and Atlassian Cloud including tools like Access, Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Crowd, etc.

  • Background in SaaS based-architectures, integration methods, and security considerations.

  • Experience with Atlassian's Cloud migration process, associated migration utilities, and hybrid SaaS and on-premise deployment models.

  • Experience supporting the entire lifecycle of the Atlassian Ecosystem.

  • Technical product demonstration, documentation, and presentation experience.

  • Experience engineering pre sales solution demos based on customer RFP or requirements gathered in the sales process.

  • Experience helping an organization adopt an Atlassian product or similar product.

  • Experience working with large enterprise customers in a consulting or technical expert capacity.
