As a Senior Technical Writer at Tempo, you will translate complex developer-speak into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for a diverse audience. You’ll work closely with product and development teams to ensure our users have the best possible documentation experience.
Responsibilities:

Develop and produce high-quality, task-based user guides, release notes, UX text, and other technical documentation for users, administrators, and developers

Continuously improve and update existing content to address gaps and enhance clarity

Work closely with product owners, usability designers, development, marketing, and customer success teams to identify and address documentation needs

Manage documentation for multiple products and projects simultaneously

Become an expert in your products, our customers’ needs, and our solutions
Requirements:
-
5+ years of experience as an effective technical writer
-
Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
-
Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
-
Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
-
Experience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex: design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content

Effectively collaborates with teams and individuals to clarify and understand user needs and product technical capabilities

Experience working in Jira to manage documentation requests, update tickets, and track content progress.
