About the role
We are seeking a Social Media Advertising Manager to own and execute ad campaigns on social media platforms, programmatic ad platforms, and through third party media buys. Your primary goal will be to drive qualified user acquisition at the top of the funnel to support new business and engage target accounts to support cross-sell business across advertising channels. You will be measured against key metrics such as Conversion volume, Cost per conversion, and pipeline influenced from your campaigns - all in the name of impacting business growth.
The candidate will be expected to take a fast and iterative approach to launching new paid media campaigns, and a data-driven optimization approach to improving the efficiency of existing campaigns when it comes to increasing conversions at a target cost. This role requires a deep understanding of social advertising in a B2B setting and a strong comfortability with managing upstream team members to get the content, messaging, and creatives necessary to launch successful campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategize how to leverage an array of paid media channels in order to reach, engage, and acquire leads from our target personas and ICP

Plan for successful campaign rollouts by partnering with key stakeholders across the marketing team to ensure deliverables are received ahead of launch deadlines

Launch campaigns in platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, StackAdapt, and 6sense by leveraging your advanced experience within each platform

Optimize live paid campaigns against historical benchmarks, ensuring business goals are being met

Own weekly reporting that tracks the efficacy of your campaigns against benchmarks and target business outcomes.

Establish and lead a meeting cadence to communicate learnings from key campaigns and A/B tests with relevant stakeholders in order to refine future strategies.

Leverage your social media advertising and business acumen to implement a strategy that takes into account the product, type of account (new business, expansion, or cross-sell), and stage of the funnel that the audience is in.

Determine the combination of platforms and campaign settings that will produce optimal results for Tempo.

Develop advertising copy and consult with internal and external creative teams on creative direction, testing, and optimization.

Ensure proper tracking and attribution setup, including proper pixel implementation on the web and campaign tagging in Salesforce.

Take on day-to-day management of paid social media platforms relevant to the B2B space, and stay updated on platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging features.

Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities for differentiation.

Identify optimization opportunities, including continuous testing of ad copy and landing pages, through a highly data-driven approach.

Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and find creative solutions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Partner closely with other members of the Demand team to share learnings and best practices.
What we’re looking for:

Paid Media Expertise: Deep understanding of paid social and programmatic advertising, including bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and platform algorithms.

Business-oriented approach: Proactively seek to adapt to changing business needs and ensure our paid campaigns are aligned to key business objectives

Project Management skillset: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Data-Driven: Analytical skills with experience leveraging data to make informed decisions and optimize performance.

Collaborative teammate: Proven ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Creative, and RevOps teams.
Preferred Experience:
-
5+ years of experience in B2B software marketing in a paid media, paid social, or similar role

Experience with ABM or highly targeted marketing campaigns for high-value accounts or verticals

Strong project and program management skills with the ability to drive both planning and execution.

Strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with sales teams.

Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.

Experience with creative tools like Figma and Canva is a plus.

Highly motivated, passionate, organized, and accountable.

Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize activities effectively under aggressive timelines, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree required.
