About the Role
About the Role Tempo.io is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join our growing Marketing team. In this role, you will leverage your analytical expertise to uncover insights, optimize marketing performance, and support strategic decision-making. We’re specifically looking for someone proficient in SQL, familiar with DBT and BigQuery, or eager to quickly learn these technologies. You’ll be responsible for both exploring new ideas and solutions and building comprehensive reports and dashboards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Sales, to enhance campaign performance and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze marketing campaign performance across multiple channels (paid media, email, website, SEO, etc.) to provide actionable recommendations.

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and interpret complex datasets.

Build and maintain data models using DBT, ensuring reliable and scalable data infrastructure.

Develop and manage dashboards and visualizations.

Work closely with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Salesforce) to ensure accurate data integration, tracking, and attribution.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Sales, to refine targeting strategies, improve lead generation, and enhance conversion rates.

Execute A/B testing, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and landing page analyses, providing clear recommendations for improvement.

Support forecasting and budgeting efforts by analyzing historical data, identifying trends, and projecting future performance.

Clearly communicate insights and strategic recommendations to stakeholders through data-driven presentations and reporting.
Qualifications

2-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, extraction, and analysis.

Familiarity with DBT and BigQuery is highly preferred, with a willingness to learn if not already experienced.

Experience creating reports and dashboards using tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce experience strongly preferred) and marketing automation tools (Braze, HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).

Familiarity with Segment by Twilio is a huge plus

Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, KPIs, and attribution models.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Previous experience in SaaS or technology-driven environments is a plus.
